Probably part of the reason KLP is so sought after is people are now realising that we produce quality footballers, after Maguire, Robertson and Bowen all came through the side from a (relatively) young age.

Don't want them becoming another Greg Luer, need to develop them, get them in the right loans or opportunities in our first team over the next few seasons.

We gave Greg his first/only professional opportunity.

Fact he's playing for Eastbourne isn't to do with the FACT we gave him a platform at a young age to make the most of - that hasn't defined his career.

Bullard trying to be his 'agent' at the time probably did though.

Plenty of lads released at a similar time to Greg still playing at a relatively high level. That was a very money dominated era for us which saw a lot of these lads not given chances they may/may not have deserved.

I think Cairney just got unlucky. Didn't he get injured early in that 2012/13 season so Bruce never really saw him, then sent him out on loan when he was fit and that was it?

A period we were willing to spend rather than give opportunity. Hoping we don't make mistakes like that again, because we have players will the potential to be on that level coming through.

I repeat. We signed Slater. A young Northern lad who'll develop.

That wasn't a McCann signing as a certain podcast suggested last week. It's a signing made by the regime who watched our promotion last season.

Think a lot of places were suggesting that was a McCann signing. But it's great we're signing a young promising player, but we do need to continue to develop our own, too.

Wasn't referring to your podcast, but the podcast thet beat you in that quiz cos you couldn't remember Richard Garcia. Lol!

Do you mean living on it at sea? If so, you might want to reconsider, it’s ****ing awful even on the flat Mediterranean - you will get thrown around in a small boat. Boats are for travelling in, you need to be in a port to sleep.
The good thing about the med is everything is within a days sailing to get there. I’m based in Mallorca which is dead centre

Love Mallorca, prefer the north of the island, but would love an apartment and boat in Palma marina.

Willing to spend but also flog Turner for pennies to pay the wage bill/ investec loan that particular month too.

Totally agree, he should never have been let go, also Cooper, though I have gone right off him with all his talk of being a TWS supporter. Maybe it was just for TWS fans' ears, but IMO you should always be honest about who you support.

Well someone has suggested KLP is a ManUre fan so make of that what you will.

Bit like when Woodhouse signed for Taylor.

Was touted as a City fan but always took the piss out of city fans at Driff school. Was always Liverpool and Sheff U. But probably best not push that too much cos he has a mean right hook and has a gym in Bev.

Could well be, but he always makes in know how proud he is to play for his hometown club. Unlike our days, people of KLP age have been brought up on a diet of SKY wall-to-wall football, and I know from my Grandson he's a City supporter, hardly misses a game, but he also supports Liverpool as a 2nd team. I think a lot of kid of their age are similar.

The bit pointing at menorca is quite nice.

But I'd rather go to menorca.

Probably cos I'm old and can't be ****ed with rowdies.

Yes, up by Pollensa is really nice, although I quite like the hustle of Alcudia and C’an Picafort also. My first ever Spanish holiday was to Menorca in 86. Stayed in a place called Son Parc which had a small cove for a beach and really liked that, but quiet for me though. Think it was next to a place called Son Bou.

Yeah I'm so proud he wants to bail when city finally have the chance to go somewhere.

If he wants to go **** him.

I just hope we get maximum coin.
