If the person that bought you had targets you had to meet while out on loan in order to get a squad place the following season, I'd be surprised if you dropped off.

Otherwise by your logic no one should ever bother getting someone on loan as they wouldn't care about the club they're going to.
Don’t turn my retirement plan into hypothetical football nonsense!

Well then you are indeed correct with that hypothetical scenario

And I would hope we don't sell unless we can have that included in the deal. The buying club would be looking to send him back out on loan for the second half of the season anyway so may as well come back to the club he already knows.

You'd have thought Stoke would have done similar with Tymon instead of farming him out elsewhere, but they didn't.

I have seen no indication that the Brentford bid was open to a loan back arrangement. I expect (I don't 'know' for the pedantic ones) there will be other bids.

****ing hell, it’s been hard enough as a supporter, what does anyone think it has been like as a player already at the club.
All KLP wanted to do was play and Ehab took that away.
No wonder that he wants to go. I would in his shoes, in fact, I would already have gone.
Magennis probably had more determination to leave and might have said **** this I’m off, when the ownership wasn’t sorted before the window opened.
Ehab is gone now though so why would that be in his thinking now?

Tymon joined in the summer and was given a chance to make it into their team, having played in the PL for us the previous season. He then was made available for loan in January after failing to do so. Very different situation.

If he does go and went to Brentford i very much doubt he would go on loan, if he went to Spurs perhaps as it was said that would be part of the deal, if it is West Ham again i doubt he will go anywhere if he is bought by them.

Why would you doubt that? He'd get nowhere near either side's first team.

He wouldn't even get in Fulham's Starting XI let alone a PL club's.

If we can replace KLP with a player with the same ability or potential for less than what we get for selling him then great, let’s do it

I think we’ll struggle though!

Disappointing to hear KLP wants to leave

His brother/brother in law Marley constantly says on FB that he loves playing for city and is not even considering moving, weird this has suddenly come out of the blue.
