Tough. Stay to see out the season while we get our house in order and plan properly for life without him. It's not like he'll suddenly be in less demand in the summer

It'd be hard to stand in his way of a move to a top 8 side but Brentford?

Could live with 15m + from Spurs or WHU but 12m from Brentford is underselling him.

Not sure how great I feel that a homegrown kid at just 20 is keen to leave for the glitz of the PL. Surely Bowen shows him that there's a clear path to the top if he sticks in the Championship another couple of seasons?

He’d just be another bench warmer if he’s lucky. He’s better off staying here, playing regularly. We see it time and time again with young players going to PL clubs and falling by the wayside.

It's easy to say he should want to stay here and be patient, but he could get a serious injury any time and then find that his chance has gone. Like it or not, any Premier League club can offer him life-changing money compared to what he's on at the moment. Maybe we can offer him a better contract to stay for a few more years, not sure if that's realistic though. It won't help that he was treated so poorly last season with his contract situation.

pal of mine who owns a microlight is clubbing in with another pal and paying a guy who owns 3 planes so they can all share them.

I've always found them fascinating but I almost killed myself on a scooter, so I'm unlikely to ever have the bollocks to risk messing around with an airborne one.

Best stick to me fleshlight for kicks instead....

How likely is it then

His agent has made other clubs aware that he wants to go, hence the sudden influx of offers.

I'd say it's at around 75% he will go, but he's replaceable. Had we not been taken over it would be a serious issue, but now I think having a player that we're preventing from leaving in a new management led dressing room might be worse than it is good.

His performances over the past few weeks have dropped off, no doubt due to the interest and while he is an unbelievable talent, we are now in a position where we can just buy a replacement.

Problem is will we have time to reinvest the money?

We need to be coming out of this window stronger, not weaker.

I like the look of Allayahar and Slater is a common sense signing - like for like Smallwood cover but unless there's some additional quality incoming then we would be weaker if KLP is allowed to leave.

This line gets trotted out fairly regularly regarding players agitating for a move, and I've gotta say if every player was always thinking with such short termism about their next move, careers would be ruined with regularity.

He's playing for his hometown club having just been taken over, with ambitions of getting back to the PL within the next two years. Surely he waits at least until the summer, or next January, to get a sense of how the club's prospects are looking.

It really doesn't sit right.

It's a bit odd wanting to leave your boyhood club when it's on the dawn of something fresh and new.

He doesn't believe he's good enough for the PL, does he?

Do we need to reinvest in January? Notoriously a hard market to operate in, better to wait until the summer.

Allayhar can replace him on a wing, it's now about getting a central striker in, and strengthening the defence, and we'll be fine.
