Allahyar will come good, we haven't seen much of him get, but what I have seen so far, the boy has balance and all good players have that ability. He has to try and learn to ride tackles rather than go to ground. I see Pep has got Grealish starting to stay on his feet more, and he is starting to look a more accomplished player IMO.

He’s only played 50 mins and he’s direct with the ball, none of this stopping and going backwards bollocks like the others.

In 50 minutes he’s touched the ball about twice, has the touch of a rapist and given away more fouls than Tom Eaves has since he signed.

Do show us this pedigree of his. A couple of clips, a couple of nice touches, taking a man on, a decent attempt on goal, anything he’s done in a Hull City shirt other than give away the ball or a foul?

If his name was Barry Smith and he was ginger and looked like Steven Quinn and we’d signed him from Aston Villa I can guarantee nobody would be talking about his ‘pedigree in Europe’.

Even Nick Proschwitz looked like Diego Costa on YouTube.

Well if he’d played in a European top division they would have, wouldn’t they? If we’d signed him from Villa youth, he wouldn’t have played in Europe would he? Div.

He’s an incredibly highly rated prospect by his national team and by Fenerbahce, but once again, the Not606 hammer of ****ness falls prematurely, this time after…wow, not even a ****ing hour of him playing.

As a board we really do excel at this, think I’ll start a Josh Hinds one.

Show me a YouTube video of Josh Hinds scoring for his country. Or skinning a man. Or showing some nice touches in a first team game.

Can’t? Must be a ****cunt then. Get him out. Don’t care how old he is, he’s played four minutes this season, he’s had more than enough chances to show what he can do.

Who said anything about Villa youth?

Learn to read before running your mouth off you sad, pathetic, angry little man.

Can’t do anything about him wanting to play in England though, it’s where most footballers want to come. Their strikers are decent too, he wouldn’t displace them at present.

Well where else would you get a 20 year old player from Aston Villa, the car park? <laugh>.
Lighten up, Francis. You’re the one talking ****, you need to roll with the punches.

They paid 850k for him and signed him of a five year deal, when he was 18, that suggests they rated him.

We signed him from Fenerbache, he didn’t come from their youth did he…

I asked what people are basing the hype on, because he has looked absolutely cack in his appearances for us.

You must have seen something, somewhere to suggest he would be a better option than Ryan Babel?

I've been distinctly underwhelmed by all our January signings.

On the Ernie scale of distinct underwhelmingness (where 1 is akin to the level of distinct underwhelmingness experienced when biting into a Morrison's meal deal sandwich and 5 is akin to spending three minutes in the company of a Welshman), my ratings are:

    Regan Slater - 1
    Allahyar Sayyadmanesh - 5
    Ryan Longman - 2
    Marcus Forss - 5
    Liam Walsh - 4

Others on here may be of a different opinion.

    In which case they're wrong.

Hang on, what hype? Where has it been suggested he’s the next CR7 or Rivaldo? He’s a highly rated prospect we’re in line to get relatively cheap. Babel would want a lot of money and for a 36 year old winger with an injury hit past and a questionable disciplinary record, would you not rather pay half that for a current 20 year old international who has already spent six months settling in at the club?
From what I’ve seen of Al, he’s direct, he runs with the ball and he heads forward, as opposed to most of our forward players who don’t seem predisposed to play towards the opposition goal. The two games he’s played he’s been put as a number 10, which isn’t his position, he plays as a wide man in a front 3 or as a striker. So from 50 odd minutes of him playing, I don’t think he’s done that badly at all.
If it was a straight up choice between Babel and Allahyar, I’d take the latter everyday of the week.

    :emoticon-0148-yes:
I mean a teenager who scored a late winner against at the time one of the premier league top 4 would generate some hype and we have him. Let’s wait until he’s actually been involved in a game we weren’t already losing to judge properly.

Not in reply to you ST just building on your reply to him:emoticon-0148-yes:
