I must get spotted all the time, but not one of you comes on here to report a sighting of me

Nothing along the lines of 'Just seen Kempton drinking a bottle of cheap white cider on a West Park bench'.

I have feelings too you know :emoticon-0106-cryin
There you go.

Suspect the sale of Chelsea will go through in the next few weeks (or at the very least taken out of Abramovich's hands) which will mean transfers will be fine by the summer.

I suspect there may be arbitration in relation to a player's right to trade/move if there's an in/out embargo in place still in June.

I can't see how it's tenable in the medium-long term saying no player can be sold.

Wonder if the fact we have a fee already agreed will hold any sway?

If he's available for free then it won't be just us offering a contract.

No transfer window operating now, so no one can be sold or bought.

Anybody out of contract come The Summer can move with no fee involved, so that won't be compromised.

Any new owner would I assume want to get his hands on the club before the transfer window opens so Chelsea can trade 'normally', bring some stability back, including getting sponsors back on board. Seems the funds received for the club, as long as they don't go to Abramovich, then a sale can go through. Roman seems to have anticipated this by stating his funds can go to support The Ukrainians.

Can't see the situation at Everton being much better now Usmanov has departed.

Likelihood of any Oligarchs owning clubs here in the future looking very remote at best.

Call me pedantic but he didn't say "can go to support Ukrainians".
