If we dont get a minimum of 3 good players in then we are down. Bennett/Harris swap would be absurd. Im sure its bollox.
We're not shopping at Harrods anymore. In fact we may well be at the sale section in Poundland. We need a left back. Bennett is a left back. He played well for us over 3 years or so. We don't have another left back we can rely on and O'Dowda is more valuable further forward. If Bennett wants to return I say give him a contract to the season end and then review. Harris to Wigan or Stoke, I don't care particularly if there is another striker coming in.

Not exactly the goal scoring forward we could do with but could be one to play off / help others up their tally maybe? TBF we are unlikely to bring in a genuine goal scorer on loan or free (unless we are looking at National League level or below)...
If he's been "on the radar for some time", obviously Lamouchi hasn't had any previous input as to the "target". Is he just taking whatever he can from our esteemed recruitment team's efforts, or is he going to spring a last minute surprise with someone he wants like the Bamba situation?
The system is a joke. How many promising talents are hoovered up by the bigger / tier 1 academy clubs that end up getting discarded when if they'd stayed at their original clubs would have had a much better grounding, more opportunities to play at a good level and probably secure a much better future?
Not an impressive career, certainly not a regular goal scorer. Looks like he has more physicality than Etete. Hope it's not just to make up the numbers.
Is it something we have no choice in? Can a Prem Academy plunder players from lower level academies for nominal fees? Or can a club like City tell them to foxtrot oscar?
Try telling that to their parents or more particularly their agents who will sell them the line of bucket loads of cash and of a better opportunity of learning their trade.
sadly if the players want to go/move there's little the club can do whilst they are still "juniors"... it's only after they turn 17 (I believe) that the club can offer a professional contract... prior to that they can come/go pretty much as they please and the club that loses out gets limited compensation... The bright lights of Prem clubs is often enough to turn their heads but it's very often a short term gain for them as they become one of many "talented" youngsters at such clubs and it becomes harder to shine and much, much more difficult to break into the first team....
Ken Zahore has had his contract terminated by WBA.... Would we????? Could we????? Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
naughty..... I also work with Arron Ramsey too (well he works out of our Gosport site)... his son is Alf Ramsey (I kid you not)...
