4 days into the window so plenty of time. These days it's not so much a case of the January sales or whether Harry Redknapp can make a quick buck recycling his lovely boys. I suspect Ferdinand and Warburton identified their targets some time ago. If in doubt they could always wait to see who Forest are going for!

Kieran Trippier set to become first signing for Saudi Toon....... £12m fee plus add-ons for a 31 year old with no resale value......Why would you leave Madrid to live/work in Newcastle, apart from a sack load of cash........... I can see them becoming the same as us under the Hughes/Redknapp period....... buying players on inflated fees looking for one last pay day........... hope they crash and burn......

There are 29 faces on the first team squad page plus now Cook (30 faces)...but only over 21 are counted and I have no idea, who is who really.
But it does look as though they do have to lose a few people in their squad.

They must have a massive wage bill. Anybody there we might fancy? At the right price?
I read Forest reduced their squad considerably in the summer window before this season started.
I saw that Forest have had 83 players in their 1st team in the past 4 seasons. That's basically seven and a half teams. Doesn't say much for either their planning or coaching...
