Does he have a clause in his contract if we get relegated to League 1?

Perhaps somebody should tell him this doesn’t apply if the player no longer has a contract in the next window.
If true it shows how desperate we were last January to pay more in salary for a reserve from a comparatively cash strapped Ligue 1 club than an established Premier League player.
Unless, contrary to what we were told, he didn’t have a reduction clause. 25k would’ve been what I’d have expected to pay him last season.
I’d be very surprised if we’d put double relegation clauses into anyone’s deal signed before this season. That’d be some serious good foresight.
Makes sense that it's Grosicki since he didn't have a relegation clause supposedly, only a Gentleman's agreement.
Sounds like the sensible option would be to have a big squad and then sell them all for massive profit in 6 months.
Problem is he seems to be under the impression all players are available for to him at £2m and can then be resold for £10m (ONO)

Correct me if i'm wrong please but Ehab in the YEP article, more or less stated in all but words, that if we had land the lad from Aberdeen then MD would possibly have gone, great so there you go Nigel you're in the HDM stating you hope you can hang on to MD beyond this season, idiot in the YEP saying he would have gone if the circumstances had been right, good luck Nigel trying to talk Daws into staying
