I am delighted Mackie is back. Exactly the sort of player I want to play for QPR. Will give everything, absolutely everything for the cause.

People refer to the fact that we have a policy of younger signings. Well we can't play 11 kids. They need guidance from senior pros like the Mackie's, Hill's etc.. To put a team of kids out there in the Championship would be suicide - look what happened to Fulham who did that in the early part of the season, and their academy is meant to be one of the better ones.

Spot on Judo.

I don't understand the criticism of Mackies homecoming.

Is he the most skilful? No.
Will he score goals? Yes.
Will he bring fight, spirit and commitment in a tough division? Yes, Yes and Yes.
And lastly, he'll help to rebuild a team spirit in the dressing room.

We now need to offload the last few losers and complete the recruitment with a few more wise signings.

Totally agree with this!

Interesting how the tide has turned on this thread since the start.

Sorry about that Watford. I'v had a couple of beers and have decided he will be a good and much needed squad addition at the very least.

I know he was never the most technically gifted of players but he gave his all for the shirt and that's good enough for me right now!

Nothing to apologise mate. Just an observation.

Though I'm glad you've seen the light.

I think that it's 50/50 TBH. As i said he is not a great player but will run around. Do i think he will have the same impact? Probably not but as i said i will support him. I do hope we get some footballers in though other wise we might as well put the team in for the olympics.

All three of the others we've signed seem like good footballers as well as athletes from what I've seen. I'll be happy just to see a squad of 18 without Hoilett or Traore.

No Watford, not Hoilett! With out his cross there would never have been Zamora! Come to think of it without his penalty against Wigan then we probably wouldn't have had that Wembley Game. Next you will be saying Adel was rubbish :emoticon-0127-lipss

Was disappointed when he left but to come back, I'm not so sure.

I do get what your saying but did we not offload him? Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he wanted to stay?

Sorry in advance if my memory is shot and that was not the case.

His woeful cross that a ten-year-old could have dealt with but we were lucky enough that Keogh for a split second had what I assume was some sort of stroke such was his ineptitude.

A bit like Zamora (but even worse) in the sense of being here for a long time and doing virtually nothing.

I'd say you're being harsh there.

I thought his contribution was usually decent (although rarely spectacular).

One of the better ones compared to 90% of the lame ducks that have formed a procession through our doors in recent years.

Are you talking about Zamora or Hoilett?
