I agree mate, that's why I didn't bother contributing to the last thread on him.

I think Beth is trout of order starting a new thread on this chap, and the right plaice for this kind of thread is on the Barnsley board. Cod only knows what she was thinking! Shell hopefully change her tuna when she seas this.

Queens Park Rangers have agreed a £1million deal with Wigan for defender James Perch.

Manager Chris Ramsey also wants to sign Southend United goalkeeper Daniel Bentley for £1.6m and the club have also handed a trial to former Reading keeper Jonathan Henly.

MK Dons are to follow the signing of Sam Gallagher on loan from Southampton by bringing in defender Matthew Upson, 36, on a free following his release from Leicester.

Threads merged....

There is an awful rumour that Perch is no longer coming to us. He is completely fed up with fishy puns that are filling the ether...he said he has never before experienced such an attack of wit and clever pun-ditry. And so he is staying at Wigan, where they have yet to "catch on" to the fact he has a funny surname
