Haven't got a clue what this bloke is like, though I remember him vaguely from the PL - Newcastle I think. But from what I've heard of him and the amounts being thrown around on here I'd agree with you. Seems he can play across the back 4, and it would be a big help to get a regular defense training and playing together today, rather than in a month.
