If / when we sign him, can the mods please add 'fish jokes' to 'Adel threads' as bannable offenses?

Not sure if anyone's mentioned it yet, but a good few years ago, Charlton's back line was Luke 'Sicknote' Young, Mark Fish, Jorge Costa and Johnathon Fortune...

Looks like we've finally caulked our leaky boat and trawled in the catch of the day.

QUEENS Park Rangers have reportedly agreed a fee with Wigan Athletic for James Perch

29-year-old Perch, formerly of Nottingham Forest and Newcastle United experienced the highs of scoring in the playoff semi-final at Loftus Road to the lows of relegation with the Latics last time out.

Sky Sports are this evening reporting that Rangers have agreed a fee with Wigan, hot off the heels of letting Steven Caulker leave for Southampton on loan.

Perch can feature through the middle or wide and is viewed as somewhat of a utility player who mainly operates defensively.

A certainty is that Chris Ramsey will need defensive options following the departures of Rio Ferdinand, Richard Dunne, Michael Harriman and Max Ehmer, with Yun Suk Young injured and Armand Traoré seemingly on his way out of the club.

Good move, perhaps a Henry type player who is aware of the requirements & expectations of this league, but has also played at a higher level.

I'm very happy to read this.

I know we need to try and stay grounded about our expectations for the coming season. My personal view has changed from mid table if we are lucky to who knows!
