On sky sports that his representatives are meeting Norwich to push a move. Ffs we spend all summer fannying around with some twat who'd rather follow an old coach to Swanny and this guy genuinely wants to come Pay the ****ing money someone please, we could all have a whip-round
http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...s/boyhood-newcastle-united-fan-jacob-13324708 Fan as his granddad was a local boy apparently. As Robellious says just pay the ****ing money. we say £8m they say £16m, surely the lad is worth £12m + £4m in add ons (goals, assists, appearances, trophies etc)
Course mate let's face it young English talent hasn't come cheap for years, 8 mill gets you newt, so double it.
£50m for Kyle Walker...FFS. £40m for Gilfi. £10m or so for Murphy seems like small change compared to some of these deals that are happening elsewhere. Even £12m-£14m is reasonable but you can see why we're not just splashing the cash. Maybe Ashley is waiting until everybody else is spent up and then we can pick up other teams cast-offs on the cheap as they are surplus to requirements now. It's a gamble but he ain't new to that game is he?
I'd say that's the way for probably 12 or 13 clubs in this league now, wait until the sharks stop feeding and see what's left. I reckon it'll be madness in the last couple of weeks in August for transfers and loans. City might struggle getting their 25 man squad together and meeting all the quotas, there's gonna be deals there for the smaller clubs I reckon.
I know we are and you did it last season to. Shame you can't get rid of them tho. Buying players like Murphy won't help you in the big league pal . Bet rafa is loving life at the minute
As a Sunderland fan I think you're the last person i'd seek advice from on NOT being **** in the Prem though mate. For what it's worth we will struggle, course we will, but don't think we'll get relegated and that'll do me
I like the look of him. We need this one tied up. Young and English also which is a big plus in my book.
