Anyone thinking Man Utd are finished are simply crazy. Fergie or no Fergire, they have the stadium and fan base (just as much as us if not more should the glory hunters go), they won't be going anywhere, we didnt despite not having that structure!

Dave, it's why I hope for real FFP enforcement. It will either happen by UEFA rule or by boom & bust.

It's actually why I like Yank ownership. They've seen this bubble burst in their sports & see where we are going. Remember , the yanks thought they had a unstoppable cash flow & were shocked when it bellied up( to be fair with some gangster betting problems)

Mark my words: the drought will come to European football.

The thing United have s a great team spirit and winning philosophy. They do have average players, but there is a mentality that keeps them going.

Who are you to arbitrate upon what is and is not ****e?

The exchange may not have been the most eloquent but it was heartfelt and was between Redmen ie not meant for Manc contribution. Hence the Banter Thread was NOT appropriate!

Quite interesting to read what we thought when Rodgers got appointed. Look how young we all were, how naive, how many dreams we had......and if anything we are ****ing worse off now than we were when he came in!

Sorry, have they been relegated? Have they disappeared or fallen away from the top pack? Oh right, I was right, they are still there, they are still in the CL (granted, they had a years blip) and they are currently looking like being in a title fight.

I'm fairly happy (not the right word since its them ****s) with my comment in hindsight as I was right.

Pretty sure they did much better the following year and look to be doing better this year. Maybe you should actually read what I put <whistle>
