A ray of hope but in my current mood I'm reading that
it just says he didn't take training. Not that he's isn't at the AOL

Blind optimism is preferable to blind pessimism seeing as we're all in the dark about how any of the contenders would do.

Stendel might try to play attacking football and shipped four goals every game, just because it worked at Barnsley doesn't mean it'll work with our players. Pearson might turn up to the first game in an ostrich outfit and run round the pitch pecking at the opposition when they score.

I didn't want Parkinson but we weren't far off with Ross and maybe he'll get enough out of them with a fresh perspective to sneak us up the table.
Spot on! Not exactly sure what our fans expect. If the one they "want" comes in and fails, where do they then direct their anger? The owner? who brings in the one they "want"? The players? Who weren't to blame for the failings under Ross? Or the manager who they "wanted"?

There's no way of knowing if this rumour is fact just because it's appeared on twittter and a forum!

Just checked.

RR merely rubbished the notion he was 'taking training' this morning.

Didn't give any info on anything else.

He could just as easily be at training to be introduced to the players, or still our manager just not announced.
Don't spoil it mate. Let's just live in a Parkinson free world for the time being

Surely you need to look at his average when he took them up in his first season with them rather than taking the average that covered two seasons of struggle in the championship when things were turning to **** off the pitch?

No idea what that would be. Does it get us to 100 points in the remaining 33 games?

Absolutely this! He hasn't even been announced and it's the worst day in the clubs' history!

Who did people expect? Mourinho? Guardiola? If Pearson has come in and asked for £x million a year and Parkinson will do it for quarter of that then what difference does it make?

He's not my first choice but he's a manager who knows the league. And he'll get my full support no matter what unlike an awful lot of fans (both on here and in the stadium)
I'd rather have Phil Parkinson than Moaninho, mind :emoticon-0105-wink:
