Nice spot mate, people i know that are in property are predicting 3 years down this end for the market to recover, so you'll probs be okay in 4-5.

It only matters if you are looking to sell anyway of course, a property is always an asset ;)

Aye. Only thing that saved me from taking a total bath on it was the exchange rate when I bought it, something like €/£ = 1.45. Love to retire out there though.

If you love the place, just sit tight on it, end of the day if the option to sell becomes viable, then think about it, but if you can see yourself retiring there, then why bother!

We were looking into some buy-to-rents over here while the prices are falsely low, until we heard about the laws, or lack thereof, to landlords.

People can basically steal your house, and you are powerless to throw them out, absolutely backward.

As its such a quiet day on here, I was wondering. How many of us on here know other members? It would be funny to all be in a room and say "bugger me! There's Tom / Dick / Esmerelda."

I know my bro is on here somewhere, but the b*g**r wont tell me his name - even tho he knows mine!

When is the great unmasking!

No-one knows me, I'm keeping it that way
