I can understand Portsmouth's fans being unhappy with the players, They are entitled to do it, but it's certainly questionable morality. The main problem is the football creditor rule. We can understand it when it's a league two player who needs to get paid to keep his mortgage going (although a lot of people have lost thier jobs because thier company has gone bust in the last 4 years, and nobody cares how they are going to pay thier mortgage), but when it's somebody who is on 30 grand a week it's natural to not have much sympathy. If the football league really want to enforce a football creditor rule, they should force all transfer fee's to be paid up front and make clubs prove that they can finance a players contract before they transfer his registration. Sadly thats never going to happen.
