To be fair Pompey followers.........It is not unreasonable to criticise some of the remarks given by Pompey fans regarding the players attitude. As I have said before if the boot was on the other foot......you lot would be all over us just the same!! You are not going to stop Saints fans from having an opinion. Nor are you going to agree with a lot that is written on the Saints board about your team. Surely that is to be expected. Opinions do not alter facts....where as facts often alter opinions. I have now had a chance to scout around and look at some of the vitriol that has been expressed. Godders is right some of it is just plain nasty. However as others have reported already it is not the players fault for the state of things if you look at it logically they are in a lose-lose situation not of their own making. The club do not want them to go.....nor does it want to pay them what they are worth, or at least what their contract says they are worth. If they stay and agree a reduced wage structure they too will, by that time possibly lost a couple of million, before their contract is up! On the other hand if the club folds they will not get paid anyway. Although they will get some compensation from the football authorities......I am merely pointing out that it is not as straight forward as some of your fans seem to think it is. It is a mess and no denying.........
