Did Mr Heaton write many of the lyrics to the Beautiful South's songs?
Or did someones 5 yr old dyslexic child? Frantically writing down anything that rhymed regardless of whether it made sense or not.
Lets face it, the people of Hull with their - at the time - massive inferiority complex, latched onto the Housemartins and the Beautiful South, took them to their hearts and put them on such a high pedestal you'd think Morrisey had wrote the lyrics and Harry Styles was the lead singer.
Now we have rubbed shoulders with the greats in the Premier League can we stop this false idol worship. I'm sure there are much more deserving "local" bands.

What reason at all would Warnock have to lie, love him or hate him. He wouldn't lie, end of. interpreting facts maybe, but lie, no.

That one hit me hard, almost took my breath away....
But we can forgive Puff cos with a name like that he must be a current Hull City supporter.
In the good old days his head would have been have been on the end of a spike.
