As Ehab wants to save money I just don't understand why we haven't done what warnock has at Cardiff. All on the back of a £4m or so – including the £700,000 addition of striker Omar Bogle on Thursday night – summer spending on eight players. Sign hungry young players with a point to prove. The kid from rochdale was released by wolves a few years ago. They've got that hunger. 4 million on 8 players FFS
But Warnock is useless so he won't sign players who will do any good. And he won't sign any before the season as good chairmen don't allow that.
****ing pisses me off when people go on about him as being a beacon of Hullishness. Moving somewhere staying to live there for a bit doesn't make you 'one of their own'. I've lived in Leeds for 20 years but would never dream of claiming to be from there or, heaven forbid, a local.
He's never claimed to be from here, he just started two very successful bands while he lived here, one of which called its album London 0 Hull 4, it's not really a surprise he's regularly linked with the place.
Additionally, I've just learned that Heaton apparently has resided in Manchester for some time begging the question - why is he churned out by media as Mr Hull?
Yeah I know he doesn't, that's why I never said he did. My entire point remains - lving somewhere and recording an album with said place in the title shouldn't associate one with said place.
The only thing I've ever liked about Heaton is his love of Italian football and, more specifically, Inter.
