It looks exactly the same. Motherwell have a plain kit so it can be put straight on there and stand out. On stripes they'd put a background on it to stop it blending into the kit too much/becoming too hard to read at a glance.
 
i have a feeling its real, shirt & sponsor..

just had a look at stoke's shirt, and the way their sponsor is on their adidas shirt, very similar.
