To be honest, I don't really know why we're all ranting and raving - the real one will be out within a month, we can deliberate over its style then

Bartlett did indeed sign off the kit design, but as far as I know, we had no new sponsor when he left.

Disagree. The shirt is alright, basic black and amber. The sponsor will just reinforce the negative image of Hull the rest of the country have of the City. I don't mind the design, I just hope that this sample shirt doesn't sport our genuine sponsor for the coming season.

Another point to add to the debate - regardless of if its real or fake, its very badly made, has anyone else noticed that the 3 stripes on the left shoulder are wider spaced than those on the right shoulder? surely adidas would not allow that out of the factory ?

If it's genuine, I'll await the "that figures" reaction from my mates/colleagues around the country.

Like a few people have mentioned, i find it odd that there is no adidas logo or sizing information on the inside of the neck. I also can't see, aside from a financial benefit, why we'd pick that as a sponsor. Having said that the shirt itself is clearly not photoshopped (although the sponsor may be), but that doesn't mean it's the official shirt. You always see very decent fakes abroad, so it could be something like that. Also the seller has 100% positive feedback, which makes me think they wouldn't want to tarnish that with selling fake goods, but it may be that they're completely naive and don't recognise a fake when they see one? Either way it's an ugly looking thing and i'm sure it won't sell well. Maybe if a few more of us email the club it will push them into either a) announcing that that isn't our shirt, or b) releasing the shirt??

You can drink without being an alcoholic and you can have a flutter without being addicted to gambling, in fact, most people do.

But you only use a pawn shop if you're completely skint, or the gear your selling is nicked.

You don't see that as being negative?

I suspect the seller was asked by someone too pull the sale of the shirt. I think there may have been communication between Commercial dept and Cash Converters.
