Agree with you there. I don't think Jol has stopped trying but the board's position hasn't really helped matters. I think they said they intended on taking up the option for an extra year back in November? But like you say, nothing's happened. Very strange. Well, we know Hangeland has had an offer - I would think it's more than just an extra year, as he is our captain, for better or for worse (if it is just another year I can see why he'd be miffed) - so the onus is on him to sign. Players like Baird and Duff, I think, activate another year when they play a certain amount of games. So it's quite different situations for all.
