Spurs for Slabhead? Fair enough.
Of course, we've since seen a whole bunch of bad faith arguments about how neither the club nor Harry Kane stood up for Ndombele when he was booed off against MorecambeYou must log in or register to see mediaYou must log in or register to see media

The Egyptian should have refused to take the pens until the lasers were stopped , players are used to crowd noise but this takes it to a new levelSenegal v Egypt highlights:

The lasers were constant. They even lit up Salah when they were lining up at the start.
One of the consequences of players winning HUGE paydays and some players constantly cheating or throwing strops or not putting in the effort is that fans EXPECT a certain level of performance and if they don't see it will make their feelings known. You must log in or register to see mediaYou must log in or register to see media

Players have removed themselves from working fans, placing themselves as performers and entertainers. Jimmy Greaves was just a working man with a decent income that by the end of his career had grown to being very well paid. Today PL players income bears no relationship with working people comparing as it does with film stars. Add to that players loyalty being bought and sold and you should not be surprised when fans react. The peoples game has been hi jacked by money, do not expect respect.
How many of those England fans are United fans? Wembley is quite accessible from Surrey.Rightly or wrongly you’re correct, and I can see why Man U fans would be disappointed in Maguire. To be booed by England fans is baffling though. He has rarely put a foot wrong for his country, has been an important part of the most successful (and frankly likeable) team for decades, and not long ago was a cult figure. I absolutely cannot fathom why he got the reaction he did from fans of the national team.

I'm puzzled as to who else would be booing him, to be honest. How many of those England fans are United fans? Wembley is quite accessible from Surrey.
There are a lot of Greek Cypriots in North London Mostly Arsenal and some Spurs.I'm puzzled as to who else would be booing him, to be honest.
Leeds fans and Liverpool, I guess. Wouldn't have thought most of them would bother, though.
Have I missed something?
Greek police officers and Albanian gangsters probably weren't there in large numbers.
