Foyth was called up for the last round of friendlies, but didn't get on the pitch

I'm going to guess the main topic for discussion is Icardi getting called up - because it's long been suspected that Messi had exiled Icardi from the team for sleeping with (and later marrying) Maxi Lopez's wife

Good thing Davies is suspended from Wales, he needs a break.

Hopefully Kane gets rested for all of the Wayne Rooney international against the USA and Southgate decides he wants a look at Wilson before fat lad comes on for his last 20 minute stroll round the pitch. Be good for Alli to get some more minutes as well, I've seen praise in the media for his performance midweek but I think he was still a bit sloppy and would benefit from a good runaround to get his touch back properly.

Alli's movement was superb, as usual, but he was clearly lacking sharpness or he'd have won the game in the first half.
Had a couple of great chances and he'd have buried them if he was 100%.

Agreed PNP, the ball just seemed to bounce off him or not drop at times. Just needs some time on the pitch to get sharper again and hopefully England can give that time to him before handing him back to us raring to go.

Just in case you needed a distraction from interesting football, the international break is back.
England have two matches at Wembley this time out, as the surface needs another good going over.
First up is the USA in a friendly on Thursday at 8pm. That's followed by a Nations League match against Croatia on Sunday at 2pm.
Both matches are on Sky and here's the squad, which will inevitably change due to players pulling out:

Goalkeepers: Marcus Bettinelli (Fulham), Jack Butland (Stoke City), Alex McCarthy (Southampton), Jordan Pickford (Everton).

Danny Welbeck has withdrawn, due to a bad looking injury from Arsenal's midweek Europa League match against Sporting.

Scotland have two Nations League matches.
The first is in Albania on Saturday at 7.45pm and the second is at Hampden against Israel on Tuesday, also at 7.45pm.
Wales host a Nations League game against Denmark on Friday at 7.45pm, then a friendly in Albania on Tuesday at 7pm.
The Republic of Ireland face Northern Ireland in a friendly on Thursday at 7.45pm, then have a Nations League game against Denmark on Monday.
Windsor Park will welcome Austria on Sunday at 5pm for the North's other match, which is a friendly.

One thing working in our favour at the moment is Tielemans being the main recipient of everything Henry learned at the Alberto Steptonho School of Throwing Players Under The Bus When You **** Things Up, which so far includes
* Singling him out for criticism in press conferences
* Being seemingly oblivious to anything positive he does
* Subbing him off at half time when 1-0 down against Reims
* Always bringing up how his form is better for Belgium than it is for Monaco, yet failing to consider why

On top of that, here's some of Henry's genius ideas during his time in charge so far, such as...
* Constant chopping and changing of formations, playing 3412, 442, 433, 3421 and expecting the players to fit in each time
* Setting the team up in a 3421 formation and then having Chadli play left wingback
