Juan Foyth had a bit of a mare last night and was bullied by Salomon Rondon. He's only 21 and hasn't been playing centre half that long but he's a long way off being a credible starting option throughout a PL season.

There are certain games that he'll be okay in but I can't help but feel that he'd be much better off doing an Eric Dier and moving up into midfield for a bit. He's got the talent but his reading of the game and physical strength aren't up to being a top class defender yet. It may come but he needs top level football and currently, it's midfield or the bench, in my opinion.

Foyth's good against non-physical teams. He can't handle strong, direct strikers who try to push him around.
Really odd squad selection, though. Not sure what's going on there.

He’s got potential but imo he needs a season on loan at a club in a top league where he will be playing week in week out.

Scotland beating San Marino is like Scotland beating Canvey Island. But,whatever turns the Scots manager on!!!!

I haven't checked the formation, but who was played out of position for this game?

It's more to do with sheer lack of quality I'm afraid. Factor in the players who pulled out due to "injury" or phobia of plastic pitches and there really isn't much left. Scotland are ****e...what's changed under Mcleish is that they now play like they are well aware of how ****e they are.
