Can see something going wrong with this signing
André Anguissa [Marseille] Medical and player ongoing abroad, we've got history in failing last minute deals.

Tim Fosu-Mensah (Man Utd) another loan so how many can we have ? or is he young enough not to count.

The Zambo tranfer from Marseille problem was (apparently) because negotiating took all afternoon. Fulham insisted on paying in instalments, according to France Football, but the clubs reached a compromise. Still waiting to be confirmed of course.

Good point about the loans SuperBri. We can have 4; 2 from the Football League. Fosu however is only 20 and as you say may be 'exempt' - not sure though.

The European window is still open so guess we will hear over the next week or so of a number of fringe players going there. And/or some being loaned to EFL clubs (think that's still possible).

Of the players that have left, their replacements, most seem to be an upgrade except maybe the fullbacks, though I like Bryan and obviously Christie might be the main Right back.
Button - Rico
Targett - Bryan
Fredericks - Fosu-Mensah
Kalas - Mawson
Norwood - Anguissa
Piazon - Seri
Ojo - Schurrle
Mitrovic - Mitrovic

With additional players to add depth to the squad

Le Merchand
Chambers
Vietto
Fabri

Prior to the transfer window we had the remains of a very good Championship team, having the loan players leave us.
At the end of the transfer window we now have a squad fit for the EPL, a definite sign of investment and intent from our Chairman.
It would be difficult for this to be better, brilliant.

The Spanish media don’t normally take a lot of interest in Fulham but our raiding of the Spanish League (or attempted in some cases) has made them take a closer look. The loan of Rico is especially eye catching. He is a top, top keeper who has fallen out of favour here, much to many fans annoyance. You should enjoy his performances and I hope he plays against Palace and/or Burnley as I am coming to both those games. Incidentally, what’s the weather like? I’m at Sevilla airport currently and it’s 86 degrees. Is the heatwave still going in the UK?

No, we had storms yesterday and the temperature dropped to 20 degrees. It's due to get hotter again over the next two weeks though.
The loan of Rico is especially eye catching.
I think this could turn out to be the biggest surprise of the window. 24 year-old, Europa League winning keeper... sounds much more reliable than Fabri.

He's the Bristol City left back who we've been on-and-off linked with all summer, and a favourite target of Kunye's. He's good but no wonderkid, basically he looks like the second choice to Targett who we've turned too after deciding Southampton are asking too much. Obviously, we need to wait and see how he adapts to the Premier League, but it looks like a good, solid signing rather than a spectacular one.

I think you're doing him a dis-service Captain. One of the best in the Championship last year. Flew under the radar a bit but will do really well I think.

I noticed that one Patrick Roberts has turned up in La Liga at Girona on a free transfer from Manchester City. I hope someone at Fulham points out this fact to Ryan. An unfortunate object lesson to young players not to have your head turned by your agent or the lure of a big name club.

How different his career might have been if he’d given another one or two seasons to Fulham.

Was it a free transfer, Fulhaman? I was under the impression it was a loan deal for Roberts. I agree with you entirely about his big move not working out as well as he probably hoped. To be fair to Pat, he wasn't getting the gametime with us that Ryan has enjoyed. I can't help but wonder whether he would still be with us if first Kit and then Jokanovic had given him more opportunities.

Stories coming in that Stefan Johansen isn't happy and could go on loan to Leeds.
