Jed Ward recalled from his loan spell at Swindon Supermarine because of an injury in the Rovers Squad according to Bristol Live

Brett Pitman has joined Eastleigh along with Michael Kelly and Josh Hare. Thought Joe Partington also joined them

He had a fair amount of treatment in about the 94th minute of the last game but was able to continue playing

Belshaw is injured but not to seriousl and Belshaw has had scans to confirm this, but JB states the Sutton match has come to quickly for him, Jaakkola will take over in goal with Ward on the bench

Brian Dutton has returned to the club as the new academy manager

Paul Tisdale has been sacked by Stevenage having won just 3 of his 21 games as their manager, he has been replaced by Steve Evans

How does he keep getting work?
I did feel sorry for him with us. Given a bad squad to work with which was a full squad too so could only bring in youths so had to move people on to get people in and to do that in a small transfer window is hard. Plus had a good target for a striker which seemed a done deal but that striker changed his mind last minute. He is a good L2 manager and that is it. With us he was punching above his weight and with Stevenage, that is a tough job anyway.

Interesting article on Bristol Live about Rovers finances / losses when the clubs accounts were posted. Losses were down by just under £1 million because of the sales of JCH to Peterborough and Kyrie Pierre and Bradley Burrows which raised £1.75 million which reduced our losses to £1,570,922.00 compared to £2.5m in 2019/2020

When JB arrived Max Ehmer departed returning to Gillingham, with 2 games to play 40 points on the board and minus GD of 30 and Fleetwood have 3 games tp play and 39 points on the board and a GD of minus 17. We could be playing against 1 of the worst defenders in recent years to wear the Blue and White quarters or against the side that sacked him before JB joined us.

Could be an interesting end to the season in more ways than one
