Darragh McAnthony the Posh chairman has said so far Rovers have received £2,000,000.00 for JCH. Article on Bristol Live
Loads of players back on the grass, apparently so we should have good squad to kick on for the rest of the season.
Zain Westbrooke has joined Stevenage on loan for the rest of the season. A good move for all parties as he wasn’t getting much of a look in under Barton. Be interesting to see how he gets on.
I would imagine he was on a good wage too. I wonder how much of this we are still paying and how much is now available to use to bring in a loan.
Stevenage seems to be a popular destination for unwanted Gas players - Westbrooke, Upson, Daly, Chris Lines. They beat Crawley this evening - containing Nichols and Craig in their number, like a ruddy Rovers reunion!
Nichols scored for Crawley Zain Walker has joined Tommy Widdrington at National league strugglers Kings Lynn Town fee is undisclosed
Jed Ward has joined Swindon Super Marine on a 1 month loan Junior Brown looks like the next player to go through the exit door possibly joined by Sion Spence who could be recalled due to his lack of game time, this is Crystal palaces decision to make not Rovers
Brett Pitman has been told that he can find himself a new club before Monday's transfer deadline according to Bristol Live
Barton said this in his interview on Saturday. It hasn't worked out for him here in all honestly. Wish him luck for the future. If he does go, we will need another striker I feel, if we want a top 7 place.
This transfer window reminds me of last years fiasco we needed a striker and we got a very poor right back, this year we need an experienced central defender and a left back and all the reports I read say we are after a central midfielder and only the mention of Wigan turning down a loan request for Luke Robinson?? is the only mention of a left back I'm guessing Pitman would go on a free as a free agent so as long as he is not registered there shouldn't be a problem if he doesn't leave before the deadline should there
No left back and no experienced central defender, normal transfer window service Anderson has played at premier league level though so hopefully he can add something to the team
Welcome to Jon Nolan! We’ve signed the former Ipswich midfielder on a free after he left the Tractor Boys. No details on length of contract but we certainly won’t be short in central midfield!
Hope fully at 29 years old he should have energy and experience He would have been at Everton the same time as Anthony Evans, wonder if they new each other and that was the reason he joined us
