Great on his day but not robust enough, for a decent fee I would let him go in the summer, we need another Hume type at leftback, that lad can run through a brick wall and just brush the dust off when he gets through it.
Im hoping when Ballard returns and hopefully stays injury free, we'll finally get to see him and Mepham get a run of games together now with Onien covering LB
Looks like Hume should be ok for Millwall https://www.sunderlandecho.com/spor...sunderland-injury-update-on-trai-hume-5052401
34 games played this season suggests that is a bit harsh - maybe the comment was valid last year but not this year!
On Cirkin, lets all hope its a temporary blip , as at his best hes an asset , lately hes been a liability the rest of the team have to carry, hes not the only one either imo, hopefully it all gets sorted for next season.
Doesn't look like anyone back this weekend. Hjelde and Lee Fee possibly next week and Ballard and Samed the week after.
Huggins Does anyone know what the latest is with his injury and when he's likely to kick a ball again? Hes been injured nearly 15 months now and i find it very strange that theres never even been any updates on his progress at all or even what his actual injury was/is? All we know is that it was his knee from when he done it, but the club have been completely silent on him. Its asif he doesn't even exist anymore. On top of all that we gave him a new contract towards the end of last year?
Last update i heard was he would be back training on the grass before the end of the season but wouldn't be considered until pre season
Thanks mate. Its always been unusually quiet with him. Hes missed that much football now i really doubt he'll reach the expectations he once had
Sunderland now have a full week on the training pitch before Saturday's game against West Brom, where Le Bris expects to welcome Hjelde and Enzo Le Fee back into his squad.
RLB: Enzo Le Fee could be available at the weekend, while Dennis Cirkin should be back within the next couple of weeks and Dan Ballard should also be available for selection by the time the play-offs begin. Originally, Ballard was 2 weeks behind Le Fee No mention of Samed who was also listed at 2 weeks behind Le Fee
Don’t think we samed again personally, not a dig at the lad just our midfield 3 is pretty set and he’s not been able to get in much when he’s been available
Would be nice if the club could update us on the injury list and whether any of them are back any time soon Huggins - Next season is what we were told Cirkin - was "2-3 weeks" last week, so hopefully no more than a fortnight away Ballard - "few weeks behind" Le Fee is what RLB said I think Samed - "not far away" was the last thing RLB said Poveda - same as Samed Abdullahi - sounds like it will be next season Danns - will likely never play for us Alese - next season So, Ballard and Cirkin should be back imminently. Samed and Poveda a bit behind them them. The rest likely won't play this season. Is that what we think?
