Hello everyone, it seems we have some problems between the two boards, not the first time and not the last I'm sure but problems we have to solve all the same.

Like all boards over 99% of you come on here simply to talk about your team, you dont venture away from your board and enjoy talking football, thats all I want you to do.

We have those who enjoy visiting the other side for good natured banter and again thats fine, banter is and always will be part of football and most of us know when to draw the line.

Sadly we have a handfull on both sides who either dont know where the line is or just enjoy crossing it to see what trouble they can cause. In the short term we ignore them or even enjoy a fight with them but eventualy, like now, good members say I have had enough and leave, thats when action must be taken.

Your mods, like me, are just football fans who do the moderating unpaid and part time to help your board, they need the majority to help them deal with the small minority.

So I'm hoping you will help us defuse things by accepting some simple rules.

First I am posting a cross board banter thread, it works on some boards but fails on others, you will decide that. It wont be stuck so if its not needed it will fall of the first page and go, thats fine.

The banter thread is lightly moderated and there for those who enjoy the more vocal banter, please dont go in then be upset if you dont like what you see.

Cross board threads are out, they just cause bother so dont post them. If you do post one and I get one complaint I will delete the thread and ban the poster, heavy handed maybe but there you go.

If you do venture to the other side please be sure of what you say because again if what you say is not what the other side want to hear, a PM to your mod complaining will mean a PM to me from the mod and the visitor being blocked from posting on that board.

If all you want is to talk about your team with your fellow fans all of this will matter not one jot, if want you want is to upset or annoy the other teams fans then it will.

I know I will ban someone and I know a few will be blocked, I know because one or two will test us out, they cant help themselves.

And before you go down the free speech road there is no such thing as free speech, try it out at your next home game. When the game starts, go to the side of the pitch, near a steward, find a black player and shout the "N" word. When the police are marching you off to the cells tell them about free speech and they will explain about responsibility.

Sorry to be heavy handed but lets get back to enjoying our football chat and stop the daft stuff, please.
 
Right this has got to a point beyond a joke now. I couldnt care less who started it or who does what. This needs to stop now. People cant be cant it as good banter then stay away. Its ruining boards and putting people off. We come on here to talk about our club not argue with someone else. So now i thinks for the forseeable future both set have fans should stay away from the other board. There has been a banter thread put on so use that if you want and aslong as everything stays on there to an extent its anything goes. But apart from that stay off every other thread and that applies to both sets of fans
 
It's a shame it had to come to this Syd. It was beyond a joke quite some time ago so let's hope lessons in communication and respect have been learned rather than just storing problems for later.
 
The trouble will be in the days before and after the next Leicester - Hull game.
I really hope that the usual offenders (we know who they are) will not only be banned but will be prevented from re-registering under a new name.

I dont think that is the right answer, why should the majority who enjoy debate suffer becasue of a few idiots?

I wish someone would tell me because I dont. They will not be banned from the site just from the other teams board, works fine on other boards.
 
Amazing ... It just shows what a bunch of ****ers the LcFc fans really are when the make AKCJ a mod ! He is without doubt the biggest **** stirring trouble causing ****er on Not606 .. Doh !

How do you explain why you and you colleagues have been on our board for as long as you have then?

I don't think you and AKCJ should be allowed to be mods because you yourself are incapable of behaving AS YOU SAY other people should behave.

You have come on our board repeatedly over the last 4 weeks droning on and on and on about how Leicester are going to take our players away because you have more money than us. You have got people very angry. It isn't banter it's being a WUM. That's when people stop giving it back to you and tell you to phuck off, in case you don't know the difference.

To you being a mod means you can delete any thread you like and ban people from your board when they retaliate to your behaviour on their board. I for one never dreamt of posting on the Leicester board until you decided to make our your home.

I've read that majority of the posts from DMD and OLM on your board. They have been witty, challenging and a long way away from the banal tripe yourself, AKCJ and Fallen have produced on this board. There is the difference; when you go crying to mummy, it's because you have lost the "Banter Battle".

If the people running these messageboards want to stop this they should make you and your other Leicester mods resign and let someone else who is capable of policing your own fans takeover, and if there isn't anyone else, tough.

Totally agree Strov, you can't simply start something up by giving it large, then go crying when there is an obvious reaction.

Couldn't be less accurate though in fairness...

This idea of Syd's makes sense, except that it will most likely mean loads of bans due to the Leicester fans' recent tendency to start crying over every little thing. They used to be all over our boards polluting every thread with their crap, now they've stopped mostly but every time one of their fans gets shot down over some ridiculous claim on our board they break down into tears and start saying they're gonna leave! <laugh>
 
We all know when we go to far and we all know when we are pressing buttons just to get a reaction, so it's time to grow up and wait until the two teams meet again in a football match.

Yes Nigel buggered of to Leicester and all that happened after that but ATM I reckon we got the better deal and some compo to boot.

Sooooo my friends just move on.

Just to clarify, nobody will be banned from anywhere without reason and if threads are deleted for no reason on any board or any abuse of powers takes place then mods, like everyone else can be blocked or banned.

I'm looking for a fresh start and hope the mods will start afresh and the members will let them.

Fair enough. I'd hate this board to be like FoxesTalk which resembles some kind of inbred community where the lack of any kind of outside opinion has led to a group of genetically ******ed knuckle draggers.
 
I've just had a packet of Walkers Salt and Vinegar and if I'm honest there isn't a finer crisp out there.

Let's give peace a chance.
