I tend to agree with you, there seems to be an invasion of idiots this season who seem intent on shouting abuse at the opposition rather than supporting our own team and players and it was worse on Saturday what with the moronic chants and also what happened away at the Den when a flare was thrown and seats ripped out. I am even informed that the Club gets more complaints from its own fans about the behaviour of a section of Charlton fans than fans of any other clubs so that goes to show you how things have changed.

I've known of away fans sitting in the home ends where they've never experienced any problems and have kept a low profile so am sorry to hear of your experience, I thought your lot were impeccable on Saturday. I never have and never will understand this fake hostility especially when there are good relations between the clubs with the Knox/Mizen anti knife crime initiative, the managers get on well and many fans are neighbours work together. When Charlton/Millwall played each other in L 1 there was lots of banter but no major incidents.I can only apologise that you had such a negative experience but your team got the win so that must've made up for it.

Think the recent contributions to this thread just goes to show that both clubs have people of very little intelligence turning up to the matches for no other reason than to cause offence & annoyance to everyone else. Two seasons ago I almost gave up my season ticket, not because of the awful football but the awful "fans" that were shouting abuse at anyone, including our own players. More positive chants & less "Adams Family" songs is what is need.

Proves that the great work our club is doing to turn our image around is working - seems the fans that prefer the knuckle-dragging image have found a new club 3 miles away.

I don't have a problem with decent Millwall fans who are guests of Charlton fans in the home ends or decent fans of any clubs, do you?

Couldn't careless BUT if your in the home end you accept it for what it is much as I would at the Den.. You ain't telling me that if I was in the home end at the Den supporting the opposition and let it be known I'd be welcome with open arms ..can't see that somehow.

There wasn't any trouble though at the Valley, were seats ripped up or flares thrown from the JS Stand? I didn't see any. Usually there aren't problems in any case if the away fans whether they are Millwall or any other club are guests of Charlton supporters and sitting with them.

So you come on here and give abuse to people based on a select few fans, whilst moaning about how Millwall fans are painted with the same brush? Do you not see how you are undermining your own argument there? For someone who had a nice up-bringing you have a potty mouth and a right attitude problem. Never before on here have i ever read a post that has wound me up as much as this one has. You really are a tosser
