No matter what happens, it can’t go as bad as some of the presentations I gave, or sat through. Some people are natural for these things, the majority however just stumble through them.

Let us know how it went.

I'm sure Tees will do better than this ...

... pretty much how I am when I accept a job I'm totally unqualified for <laugh>

Probably too late but I do a lot of presentations
The key is all in the preparation.
Keep it simple - no one likes a smart arse.
Know what you are going to say - dont just repeat what is on the slides & practice.
Maximum 6 slides - less if it's to a director.
Be prepared for stupid or challenging questions.

I'm sure you nailed it <cheers>

I must have presented thousands over the years, some great advice on here.
Have a meanigful title slide with subtle animation, merging colours for example, that should be on before they enter the room and whilst you introduce yourself and the topic.
Never ever just read whats on the slides, use bullit points to remind you of what to say, no more than 6 per slide.
NEVER EVER present Death by PowerPoint (A slide with a lots of text, a paragraph does not belong on a slide)
Charts and graphs should explain themselves but you have to use them to support your argument/hypothesis/point in a summery "As you can see from the chart...." etc ect
Apear confident, even if you're quaing in your boots.
Remember, your introducing them to something they don't know about, so YOU are the expert, not them.
Do not rush through it, take your time, and pause when you ask a question, give them time to think, it puts YOU in control, not them.

Bdest of luck and I hope it went well, sorry for the late advice.

My exact playbook.

6 slides excluding title slide, with information that reminds you what you want to speak.

Don’t put your golden parts on the slides. Talk openly on them.

I still ****ing hate doing presentations mind even after 15-20 years. I’m comfortable doing them now but I will always prefer one on one and small groups.

I have had a big promotion and no idea how im going to cope at 7am tomorrow doing a presentation to all my big bosses.

Anyway i watch this video often and cant honestly believe why tbis musical genius decided to kill himself. Adored by millions and one of the best artists ever. Mental health absolutely sucks and is so evil..
