We deffo need another striker.
Period. Get a result today, and we would attract an in form top player in January. Lose badly, in bottom 3 and it looks gloomy, then we wont.
Ignore that, just seen news conference as he is out for longer. Is Philogene a natural replacement?Omari not out long term according to kmc. We have the cup next week so could be back against Brighton? Definitely need a striker - Ali not up to this level at this stage of his career
Bugger!!Ignore that, just seen news conference as he is out for longer. Is Philogene a natural replacement?

Apparently happened in the 1st training session after the Chelsea game. It’s the sheer effort of premier league football that’s causing the injuries - Omari has played almost all minutes this season. He came off at 1/2 time against Newcastle but that’s about itDid Omari pull his groin injury during training then? I dont recall him in pain during the previous game?
Omari now out for weeks, which is a huge blow.
Hopefully we can get 2 or 3 in, in the transfer window to help us out a bit.
Definitely need both a 9 and a 10 in
According to a post on TWTD Szmodics is now injured!!FFS!!!
skuse, Douglas &Hyam - there was a midfield trio to strike fear into opposition defences. They must have scored 10 goals between them in their careersHowever bad we think things are now just scroll back through this thread to remember the dark, dark days of our relegation to the third division and subsequent struggle to escape it,(I'm sure I've blocked a lot of it to protect my mental health!)
PS I really can't believe I started this thread concerned about an injury to Cole Skuse!!!

I absolutely agree, such fine margins between success and instant return to the Championship. The big contrast looking back though was the total despondency with the Club from top to bottom. If I was going to piss on your chips - getting relegated would be a huge step backward and in a few years we could be back in the doldrums. There are no guarantees we would bounce straight back up. We have to do everything to stay in the top flight this season so we can keep moving forward.
That is why it’s so frustrating to play so well and then give away a stupid penalty. Without so many of the silly mistakes we’d be in the top half and comfortable.
Confirmed Burns out for the season.
I know we've had issues in the past with injuries, but this season has gone crazy.
We must be in the top 2 or 3 for the most injuries this season.
