Very likeable person, and a decent member of our squad when fit, but we need serious reinforcements up top in January if we want to stay up - Delap can't do it all on his own

 

And if Delap gets injured, beast tho he is, we are in trouble, Sami is not a CF.

 

Al Hamadi knows where the net is. Don’t underestimate how unprepared the opposition will be when he gets a chance.

 

I thought Al Hamadi struggled a bit in the Championship. He’s fairly quick and can hold the ball up, but that don’t count for much against most Premier League defences when the rest of your game needs improving. He couldn’t really get regular game time when Hirst was injured last season, as Moore kept him out the side.

I definitely think Al Hamadi needs game time, preferably on loan to a Championship club in January. If he’s our main striker if Delap gets injured, I can’t see us scoring the goals needed to stay up.
