Harness out for 10 weeks.
With Aluko amd TJJ also out, leaves our attack very thin on the ground.
Hopefully we're still top two by the next transfer window so we can add some fresh firepower

 

Do we bring back some of our players who are on loan?

 

Issue is, we can't register any new players til January, where I would expect some players to return from injury, or we'll buy better. Pointless bringing the likes of mizouni and Harper back... they won't add anything

 

I didn't think about that. Was also thinking about Pigott in the 10 role, think he could do a job there

 

I may be wrong, but I think piggotts deal is a season long with no recall option

 

I’d be recalling El Mouzini IF McKenna rates him, but he might be out on loan because he doesn’t.

Apart from that, it’s a good chance for some of our academy to step up. I always find it strange that we are so precious about playing youngsters at this level when kids will go into top flight sides or out on loan in the Championship with no drama.

Huge loss, the pressure he takes off his back line through coming for crosses and sweeping up I don't think I've seen the like at Ipswich. However Hladky sounds like an able deputy, I know he didn't have a great start in a town shirt but he was in the team at a time of flux and we were very open. If feels like we have got to that level of consistency now where players can just slot in and do a decent job even if they're not as good as the person they are replacing

 

Burns now injured on international duty, apparent pulled hamstring so not sure how many games he'll miss

 

He needs a proper rest if achilees tendon, and rehab.

Perhaps time Hutchinson or Williams to start. Did a proper job wen they came on.

Or even Jackson perhaps.

We now have strength in depth.

 

I do think burns has underperformed of late, so maybe someone threatening his position could do him the world of good

 

One decent cross in six! But he can still run defenders ragged, but he doesnt get back to help as much as he used to.

 

For as long as Burns is out, let’s have Aluko involved again.

 

I am all for that, a classy player, who belongs to the championship and above, albeit a bit senior now!
