I heard that Ashbee, Barmby and his mate were in Star on Friday afternoon, either getting pissed or discussing a deal hopefully!
Ash has hung his boots up. He said he has had enough of football (playing).
As someone said he works in Hull now, for blowers. I was chatting to him about it the other day.
Ian Ashbee was in Pave last night.
He was never the slimmest, but he's what I'd call 'portly' now.
He was having a booze up.
I don't think he'd mind. Might send some business his wayI wasn't going to list where he works! But that's correct.
Blowers jewelers on Saville st ?
One of the best independent watch jewellers in the UK. All top end stuff, and right on your doorstep.

He's not actually stood behind the counter flogging stuff, he runs a separate part of the business selling very expensive watches, mainly to Premier League footballers.

As they probably do less than 5% of their business over the counter, that's correct. He deals with all customers, I'm not a Premier league footballer.![]()
Tut-tut, how dare he?
He could come on here as Babe of the day but thats all.Currently a free agent, we could do a lot worse than bring him back to the club in some sort of advisary, motivational, kick ass role.

Shock horror innit.
Just wanted to say, I think you're the worst poster on this forum.

It was a utter disgrace how they treated him. If there was ever a player in our history who deserved a testimonal then it was Ian Ashbee. The guy was a legend. Okay he would have only probably been a squad player this season but who cares. Whoever was behind this decision (Nigel Pearson, Adam Pearson ??) should hang their heads in shame.
