Indeed. The question is does he want to go and play first team football or sit on a bench ? I would suggest another option for him maybe a club like Southampton as Kevin Davis is not getting any younger.
yeah lewis joined a club on loan as a kind of trial, fry wants cash for him before his contract runs out, not sure if the club he went to wants to buy him though. he was brilliant against us down at thier place id take him on a free. boyd, mccann, lewis and thier rightback impressed me the most. what do people think about a swap deal stewart for waghorn
i liked waghorn, maybe a bit injury prone but looked promising. are we interested in any leicster players premier, either included in a deal for stewart or any coming to the end of their contracts, i know you cant say too much.
Waghorn isnt leaving here. He is a player Pearson rates very highly and if he can come back into form he will play here. John Percy has said we will be changing alot of the squad regardless of weather we go up or not so there could be some bargains from here. For example Matt Mills will probably be available for about half what we paid for him
I don't think it's really fair for me to say to much at the minute. I've said we have some interest in a Peterborough player, and there are many more out there we are interested in and many who have expressed an interest in joining us, with one I found out today being a really big surprise. The management have a very clear idea of who and what type of player they want to sign, but there are so many variables that will ultimately effect who we do and don't bring in, even though I know a lot of the names, it really is still very unclear who will and won't sign.
I can't see Leicester coming in for any of our players again this summer. Stewart will probably have put off NP and any other potential suitors with his form of late and we the only players we have worth anything to Leicester are the ones we'll be keeping hold of.

Nigel knows what Stewart can and cant do. His current form wont bother Nigel too much, if he thinks he can get the best out of him then by the sounds of things he is a very good player.

We only paid 4M for Mills so half of that is 2M. His wages would either have to come down or we would probably have to pay some of them. He isnt a bad player and for 2M he would be a bargain for someone. Wolves were prepared to pay 3.5M at the start of the season
If you sell him you'll be miracle workers if you get a fee. Championship clubs cannot afford his wages.

You overpaid for Mills and he's on far too much money, I think the best you'll do is a loan with you subsidising his wages. Ditto Beckford.
A champ team won't pay much more than 7k a week though. Its like Deja Vu of us, but it feels so much better when it's happening to someone else. I think they could appoint Duffen as chairman
Beckford im not sure what will happen. He is a very good player and will score goals. But his attitude and work rate is basically ****. Whatever Nigel chooses to do with him then I will trust his decision because i dont have a bloody clue what to do with him. Mills is on about 25K which is about double what we should of paid. A lower prem team might be willing to pay that but its unlikely
Francois Zoko should be worth at least a trial in the summer like Nobby Solano and Harper had, the only clubs interested are Charlton and Rangers so I think we should have a look, he may not be young but he's quick, strong, skillful and can FINISH, he deserves a chance in the Championship
