You have to look hard to find evidence of this. Considering the amount of broadcasting they do on TV and radio it doesn't exactly jump out at me. A huge fuss has been made of one song banned from one station, but honestly, how important is that in the great scheme of things? Search the Radio Times to get a fair view of what is on. Somebody has made huge blunders, there has been some awful scandals, with the Diana interview probably another one, but these are reasons to be sad at a decline in standards rather than happy at another opportunity to attack them.
Did you watch their adaptation of 'War of the Worlds'?
Decent special effects, but endless hackneyed woke dialogue, characters and plot that Wells would not have recognised.
Just an excuse to kick the Empire and all 'British' values at the end of the Victorian era.
A real shame.
I thought they were going to produce a faithful re-telling of the book, which has never been done in over 100 years.
And what they've done to Doctor Who is truly over the top.
Viewing figures are up apparently

But are foreign networks really buying this stuff?
If their viewers won't watch it, the series is one bad season from being pulled again.
A great pity, as I though it didn't do too badly for a few years after the 2005 relaunch.
Having said all that, I still like and trust the BBC New service.
Granted they aren't perfect.
But I prefer them to ITV, Sky or any of the other news networks.
