I don't understand how Burn keeps getting picked ahead of Livramento

First goal the free kick got heading into the middle, and their player had 3 of ours around him who just stood there and allowed him a free header. Defending was awful from all 3.

Their second no one marked Barclay or got close to him, Schar was just casually standing behind him.

Sure but all I'm saying is schar didn't seem to do to deserve to be blamed specifically for the 2nd goal.

He’s meant to be this top CB according to Lord of our fans yet he looks like a lower PL standard defender. He’s also entering his prime years.
He was at fault in both goals.

At fault "FOR" both goals vs At fault "in" both goals, there's a difference.

He usually does well in games, he contributes towards the defence and the attack, I fail to see how he can be singled out for much in that last game tbh.

The entire back 4 needs replacing with the exception of Botman. Essentially Newcastle don't have the funds to solve much for a while now.

Trippier/Livarmento is fine for RB
Schar and Burn fine for back up CB's
Botman mainstay for the next 10 years please
Target again good back up

So really we need we need a starting RCB and LB

We have Trippiers competition/replacements in Tino and Ashby

Come on guys if the aims top 6 we need another cb on Botmans level and a left back of real quality... Livramento can replace Trippier and then when trippier is sold we'll need another right back.

Most games he's played, Livramento has looked superb. Played well vs Dortmund and PSG in the champions league.

Burn has been found out. Unless he has a solid midfield covering him all game, all players have to do is hammer long balls over his head to anyone with pace and he's ****ed.

It cost us 2 pts vs Luton and started a potential Villa comeback last week also. He also gave Walker so much space vs City which lead to the first City goal.

Some of us have been saying for weeks to drop Burn. He's been a fantastic servant, but it's time for him to be dropped.

Many of us were saying at half time vs Luton that Burn needed to be dropped and Tino on but Howe decided to wait until Burn cost us another 2 goals before deciding it was time.

It's not even Burn I'm most concerned with it's Eddie Howe.
Can Livramento do this???
