I respect Assem Allam for the many good things he has done in the local area most have nothing to do with football...

The name change achieves nothing.

Is pointless ....it's stupid. And he should accept the fa's verdict or go

I think you are probably genuine with your support of the club, as am I. We just differ on how best to do it. I don't feel the need to direct personal abuse at you just because we have different opinions.

The only time I would want to see "Stevie G" or "Wayney R" at the KC is if they were losing to us. (or playing for England).

Administration is the worst case scenario. And if it happens its not the end of the world, we'll be relegated no doubt, possibly twice, but does that really matter? Obviously no one wants the good times to end but all good things must eventually come to an end and relegation will happen one day anyway. We all go to support our team and watch football, nothing will stop us from doing that whatever league we're in, the quality of football on display might get worse but the enjoyment will be just as high as always.

It won't come to that anyway, we're a premier league team with a lot of potential and currently a very strong squad. We're an attractive investment, there will definitely be a buyer if Allam wants to leave. The chances are that buyer will more likely be a better owner than Assem. Not only would they have more money to invest, they probably won't be an egotistical mad men with a vendetta against anyone who dares say no to him. Sure there are one or two horror stories with new owners but they are by far outweighed by decent owners. Even the worst learn eventually, Leicesters Thai's were known as lunatics at first now they're magnificent for their club, even the Venky's seemed to have learned their lessons.

And don't forget, it's down to Assem Allam to find a buyer. If you trust him so much, then surely you trust him to find a buyer who isn't a raging lunatic? If he sells and we end up with a Cellino or a Mike Ashley, that's down to Assem Allam, do you think he'd subject this club to someone like them? If so, maybe you should rethink about your opinion of the man.

Ignoring the controversy he's caused, there's no doubt Assem Allam has been good for this club, but he's taken this club as far as he can and he's admitted as much. The chances of a new owner being a bad egg are by far outweighed by the chances of it being someone decent, and if you trust Allam you must trust him to did the right man.

I don't see how him selling the club and getting a potential new owner can be met with anything but excitement by anyone, it would be best for all concerned.

Reasonable points.

Relegation - for whatever reason is an occupational hazard for any football team, and as such, is as you say, not the end of the world. Like you I'd rather not see it, but I've spent more time watching City in the lower leagues than in the top tier. And no I wasn't at Torquay, I was the only person on this board who missed that game it seems.

However I don't share your optimism over finding a new owner easily, and I do worry that they would be an asset stripper or worse. None have appeared yet who would pay the £100m necessary (the £60m figure in the Sun was nonsense (it was the Sun after all)). And even if one does appear on the horizon it seems unlikely that they would be local. Would you really want a Cellino?

If he was selling Assem would only be interested in the cash. Why would he look for a decent owner, he'd look for a rich one who would give him what he wants. Wouldn't you? If you sell your car you may well want it to go to a good home, but you'd most likely take the highest bid.

The real danger is if we go into administration and the largest creditor won't accept the best offer made. Then we get wound up, and the name goes whatever the fans want. And you know who the largest creditor is likely to be!

I'd rather compromise and thrive, but there seems to be some debate as to whether that puts me in a minority or majority.
