CTWD have been inactive since April, yet you hold them responsible for every anti-name change and anti-Allam poster on a message board?

We can control our own output, but to suggest we should be taking responsibility for every post by random individuals on football message boards is utterly ridiculous.

I think this is a good and important point. There are a lot of posters on here who are either anti Allam, or anti name change, but are not members of CTWD. It may well be that CTWD are being unfairly associated with some of the abuse when, in fact, they are running a reasonable and responsible campaign.

It would not be unreasonable for people to say whether they are CTWD members or not, what ever their attitude to Allam or Name Change.

For the record I am not a member of CTWD.

I am pro Allam (in general)

I am against the Name Change but would accept it if it meant the survival and success of the club.

Tin Helmet on.

It's easy to point the finger at CTWD though considering it's the only opposition group. I guess the pro-name changers have no other foot to stand on when it comes to justifying the booing if they can't blame CTWD.

In my view (and I've got a tin hat on ready) part of the problem is that people (understandably at times) cannot seperate the aims and statements from the group from the comments on forums of individuals within that group.

For myself, I know the original group was a single issue group solely for the name change, but that's gone.

I'm not quite sure what CTWD currently represents.

Hull City AFC

I love this club. Why? because I'm from hull. It's my team.

So......

We change our name!

We're now Hull Tigers.

I love this club. Why? Because I'm from hull. It's my team.

If the owner bought the stadium and called it the Allam Marine Arena, would you care?

Having read the views about supporters for and against its obvious that those that oppose the name change think they support the club more than any other city fan. To the point they'll not even consider the argument.

Those who want the name change are being called glory fans who only watch premier league football.

I'm 31. I've watched city play since I was 6. 1989 was my first game. But all hear from ex Man U and Liverpool fans is "I was at boothferry park", so was I. I loved Kenny Dalglish and Alan shearer and my parents had sky and I watched the premier league since it's first whistle. Just because my dad took me 3 times a season all those years ago doesn't mean I can say, I was there, when we were locked out blah blah ****ing blah.

I was. I did put my hand in my pocket. Only because my dad put the penny's in my hand.

Now all those that boo'd tonight are being called traitors because they're going against the club.

What a load of ****. If Mr Allam didn't come in, then we might have gone bust. If we had, what name do you think we'd have picked to start as a new club?

Hull Tigers would be flying high!

And we'd all be grateful

What is the argument? It's yet to be presented.

I like hull city because my dad took me to see them. I now support them.

I also really liked Opel fruits.

Now I like starburst.

Still no argument for the change then.

It appears the argument for the change is the old "Opal Fruits" "Starburst" comparison.

Excellent work. I appreciate the time & effort you've all put in over the last 12 months to come up with such a compelling, effective & trenchant piece of work. It really is formidable. I'm sure it will go a long way in convincing many doubters that we are in safe hands moving forward.

Well done to you all, thank you.

Why is it CTWD fault some fans takes take there point OTT? These people may or not be members.

You look at any type of protest. Whether it be political, social or something to do with sport some people will always take it a step to far.

BCC is a anti named change as OLM, yet isn't a member of CTWD. I wasn't a member until last night, but has always been anti name change.

Not everyone who takes part in 19:04 chant will be a member CTWD.

You don't have to part of a group to stand up to for your beliefs.

I just don't get why some people blame CTWD for actions of everyone who is anti name change. There statements and soundbites on social media have always been respectful and have always encourage support the football and Allams.

People booing seem to have forgot the FA was the ones who said NO to the name change .

In my opinion they would have said NO if CTWD had not existed

Anyone supporting the name change should be getting on at the FA not CTWD .

only the fa have the power to change our name .

It's not going to happen .

Mr Allam has lost

You either accept it Mr Allam or leave .

Bring on the new owners .

And if the FA reverse their decision on appeal? Will you drop your protest and/or stop going?

Why does it matter if the aggressors are members of CTWD or not? Anyone can buy a membership, the committee can't stop them. The committee can't attribute a member to every forum poster. The members don't speak on behalf of the committee.

Whether one forum poster who calls a pro Allam parasite a **** is a CTWD member or not is entirely irrelevant, all that matters is what the CTWD group say themselves in their statements and such like. Even OLM's posts on here have **** all to do with CTWD. They're his personal opinion, not the opinions of the group as a whole.

If Allam throws his toys out the pram and calls in his loan, sending the club into administration and spiralling down the leagues, would you still be infatuated with him?

Not infatuated with him, just think he is the clubs best chance of survival. Are you capable of reasoned debate without resorting to personal attacks?

Yes. Best chance of survival? We're quite alright. There's no danger of Hull going without a professional club. Even if Allam calls in all his loans it will likely lead to a fire sale, administration, rip off the creditors and go back down the leagues to where we once belonged. The club doesn't need saving it needs liberating.

What you mean is, Allam is the best chance of getting Stevie G and Wayney R at the KC stadium. The premier league is all that matters really isn't it.

We're going to have to disagree. I think there is a very real chance of the club going in to administration without the Allams. If that happens then there may well be a "phoenix club" arise from the ashes, but it would not be Hull City, so you'd end up losing "your club" anyway.

I think you are probably genuine with your support of the club, as am I. We just differ on how best to do it. I don't feel the need to direct personal abuse at you just because we have different opinions.

The only time I would want to see "Stevie G" or "Wayney R" at the KC is if they were losing to us. (or playing for England).

I watch 11 vs 11 on the pitch at my home town ..

I don't care about history or tradition .. its 90 minutes of football ... that's it ...if you think more than that then you have life issues .. not football issues tbh

So Dazed, you agree that you are not in fact a Hull City Fan, you are simply what is wrong with the game now, a consumer (not that you go) of the Murdoch created "football product"

Pure fantasy.
