Actual attendance yesterday was 8,733.

Lowest by far than any other games in the Championship. A third of Ipswich in League One.Less than Rotherham, Plymouth and other lower league clubs then. The fans are going to become ever less irrelevant.
Repeat to yourself, we are the best run club in the Football League and only a small minority are against the owners, the silent majority are with them...

So on what basis are they now exaggerating the gate? Are they claiming 25% of members didn’t turn up? That’s surely ridiculous.

Remember the good old days when it was claimed there were actually more in the stadium than the published gate, all part of a tax fiddle? How things change...

The influence of betting companies on the game is getting pernicious. I think that the bookies are behind the advent of VAR - it doesn’t favour fans to get decisions “right” but it does favour those with money riding on decisions.

And now this spooky bullshit. Frankly, if people texting in the ground can game the live betting system then good luck to them - bookies need to sort their **** at their end, not send bullying ****s into football grounds. Utter disgrace.

Never mind, it’s only the bandwagon jumpers...
