Betting is a massive world wide money making business now - https://betgenius.com/ & https://comsecglobal.com/ As Ray would say 'its all about the inplay action'
So on what basis are they now exaggerating the gate? Are they claiming 25% of members didn’t turn up? That’s surely ridiculous.
Lowest by far than any other games in the Championship. A third of Ipswich in League One.Less than Rotherham, Plymouth and other lower league clubs then. The fans are going to become ever less irrelevant. Repeat to yourself, we are the best run club in the Football League and only a small minority are against the owners, the silent majority are with them...
Remember the good old days when it was claimed there were actually more in the stadium than the published gate, all part of a tax fiddle? How things change...
Bloody Scouts,if not bothering you with Bob-A-Jobing, it's now being secret squirrel for betting companies ... https://www.betangel.com/blog_wp/2015/08/09/my-job-as-a-football-data-scout/
I retract my earlier post. ****ing disgusting this. Christ good job they didn’t see rick the amount he tweets during games
The influence of betting companies on the game is getting pernicious. I think that the bookies are behind the advent of VAR - it doesn’t favour fans to get decisions “right” but it does favour those with money riding on decisions. And now this spooky bullshit. Frankly, if people texting in the ground can game the live betting system then good luck to them - bookies need to sort their **** at their end, not send bullying ****s into football grounds. Utter disgrace.
I suspect no differently to last season, the gap is always bigger in August, due to the amount of people who are on holiday.
I thought this was quite imaginative by whoever does the clubs social media when there was a penalty shout,
