I was curious so had a look at the match report which states

"Half time brought a couple of changes and a slight reshuffle as Josh Clackstone and Dan Batty replaced Brian Lenihan and Kamil Grosicki. Ola Aina switched from left back to right back, Max Clark moved to left back with Clackstone operating as a centre back. James Weir moved wide left, Batty played in the middle of midfield with Markus Henriksen pushing forward to support Hernandez in attack."

For their goal he completely left his man to wander as well. I know he didnt score anyway as the other player rounded the keeper, but the other brizzle player was just behind completely un marked.

Clark has apparently played well in both games so far, if I remember correctly Clark played left back for the England U15 & 16's. So have could certainly fill in there if necessary.

He's not that quick but he's no centre mid. Worth giving him a try there.
