Following on the current thread from Chazzs book club .I remember seeing a statue in Queens Gardens to the fictional character Robinson Crusoe who in the novel sailed from Hull ,it was adjacent to the travesty that was the Mick Ronson stage.I was wondering if anyone knew if ithe statue will be put back in place once the current works have been completed to Queens Gardens .Also a proper tribute to Mick and the fellow spiders would not go amiss either.

I forgot all about them D.:emoticon-0145-shake

They're tucked out of the way, isolated by the roadworks, with very little media coverage.

It's a shame really, because I'm sure many people would enjoy a trip there for a game.
