Following on the current thread from Chazzs book club .I remember seeing a statue in Queens Gardens to the fictional character Robinson Crusoe who in the novel sailed from Hull ,it was adjacent to the travesty that was the Mick Ronson stage.I was wondering if anyone knew if ithe statue will be put back in place once the current works have been completed to Queens Gardens .Also a proper tribute to Mick and the fellow spiders would not go amiss either.
There's Hull Seahawks too, that have got quite a few locals from scratch to a high level. They missed them off the clip.
They're tucked out of the way, isolated by the roadworks, with very little media coverage. It's a shame really, because I'm sure many people would enjoy a trip there for a game.
We used to have the vikings, till the rugby ****s kicked them out of the stadium. (Stadium for want of a better word)
Never been to the ice hockey but used to be a regular at speedway. Itwas the only time I set foot in the darksiders hovel
Give the ice hockey a go, especially if you've some younger ones to take with you. I doubt you'd be disappointed. They're at home on Sunday 17:30. https://hullseahawks.co.uk/fixtures https://hullseahawks.co.uk/match-tickets
"Hull chooses you"... and if you wander around this great globe, it has the power to pull you right back...
I have no idea if there's a local outlet, but from your link....https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/ClemWear
