11.95?

How many rashers of bacon and how many sausages? Because if it isn't at least 4 of each it's a ripoff.

That's the big breakfast, there's a standard one...

Lounge Breakfast 7.95
Smoked back bacon, Cumberland sausage, hash browns, baked beans, slow-roasted tomato, button mushrooms, fried egg and toast.

Doesn't look a bad menu, I might give it a go.

Yep, more places like this would be nice. Shame it isn't an independent, as want to avoid the chains - but doesn't look too bad

Cheers. Will be more like the cafe bars in Europe as long as there aren't all sorts of restrictions on under 18s. City centres everywhere, and not just Hull, could do with more places that are for mixed age groups and aren't just for under 30s.

A former colleague of mine was there earlier in the week and really enjoyed it

We had our passports out today, and vaccinations updated, and spent the afternoon in Bridlington. Haddock, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter, and a pot of tea in Alans Nosh Bar, very tasty and piping hot.

Was always pretty decent. Don't know if she still has it as haven't been in for a bit but the woman who owned it for years was the daughter of a good friend of my mum and dad. She will be in her 70s now but may still be there as she was a workaholic.

Could have been her, she called me 'young man', myopia and dementia is terrible! They were very good on social distancing and hygiene, and made everyone give contact details.

Heard that Game is moving out of Prospect Centre and onto the top floor of Sports Direct.

If Wings does not renew its contract which is up at some point in the next year in that building, Flannels may also be moving in there in the basement, leaving St Stephens.

Starbucks has reopened in St Stephens in part of the old Fit24 unit. The crazy golf place is also in that unit.
