I found just how out of shape I am yesteray, after cycling 2.3km in just over 5 minutes on an exercise bike I was fooked.

That second will be used by your mate at every piss taking opportunity he gets. Why didn't you just leg him up 20 yards from the finish. It's all about the upper hand.

Congrats, I managed a PB time of 49.55!! Great to see so many turned out even in the rain!! The crowds definitely spur you on!!

I must have been practically running along side you. You might even be one the people I was using as a pace setter
The world record for 10k is 26:17. Before googling that I had a guess at what it might be and went 35 mins. 26:17 is ridiculous.
