when was that?

We just need that shot in the arm to get us over the line.
Very risky though.

And he was doing such a good job too...
Maybe the 'new manager' effect will give you lot a boost, as it often does, you only need it for the Fulham match and you'll be pretty much home and dry.
We're clearly hoping for a di Canio style push at the end of the season
I think this is it in a nutshell. If we can get some kind of reaction resulting in 3 points against Fulham, it'll have gone a long, long way to securing our survival for another season. We didn't look like getting 3 points under Hughton, so this is the last roll of the dice.
I think this is purely a firefighting measure, Adams' has 5 games, and short of winning the lot he won't be in charge next season. It wouldn't surprise me if the board already start investigating and even interviewing potential managers for next season very shortly.

This is a real gamble which I don't think needed to be made.
There is more risk attached to this than potential gain.
I think he would have kept you up and you could have fired him in the summer.
Now you're back in the cauldron.

As many have stated above, timing is awful. This should have either happened months ago or not at all. Board have got a lot to answer for when you think it through. I suppose after Saturdays debacle it was a matter of time but we will have to wait and see how it pans out now.
But harsh to say Gunn mark two though. Let's get behind him for a last push and rebuild for next year whatever league we are in.
OTBC!

Incredibly risky because I really can't see Neil Adams giving us that shot in the arm.
Prove me wrong, Neil.
After yesterdays performance, the chances of getting anything from the Fulham game with Hughton were practically nil.
